1973 Oldsmobile Cotner Bevington Ambulance
The fire company purchased in May of 1973 an Oldsmobile Cotner Bevington “Volunteer” model ambulance. The ambulance was delivered to Bel Air in May of 1973 and placed into service on June 1, 1973.
The ambulance would be equipped with all the modern medical equipment of the time. This unit was sold to the Darlington Volunteer Fire Company in April of 1976 after their ambulance had been involved in an accident.
