Welcome to Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company

The mission of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, Incorporated shall be the prevention and suppression of fire and the protection of life and property during such fires and emergencies as may occur in the Town of Bel Air and the surrounding communities.

To accomplish our mission it will be our duty to demand personal commitment, good morale character, pride, honesty and teamwork from each and every member of the organization regardless of rank or position.

We shall never allow race, color, creed, sex, age, lifestyle, national origin, or economic status to cloud our judgment or affect our decisions. Everyone will be treated fairly with compassion and respect.

We shall always demand excellence of service to the citizens and community we serve.

Welcome to the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company website. This is our forum to bring to you, the citizens we serve, our viewpoints on issues that are of concern to us. We feel these issues should be a concern to you as well. Hopefully you will gain an understanding of both the services that you receive and the people who provide you with these volunteer services.

Who is the Bel Air VFC? It’s neighbor helping neighbor during an emergency in the spirit that built America and made it great. It’s a proud tradition that has served the greater Bel Air community for over 100 years. It’s 175 volunteers, from all walks of life, giving up time away from business, home and family, 24 hours a day; 365 days a year, to respond to your calls for help and who continually train in order to render professional and caring emergency service – often at night, in bad weather, and at great personal risk.

Every day you see us as you drive by the fire station on your way to work or on the way to take your children to school. We see you at the most difficult, and sometimes most tragic, moments in your life but what do you really know about us; the people and organization that provide you with professional fire and EMS protection? Please take the time to enjoy our website, learn about us, and give us your feedback so we can learn more about you.

        Thanks for visiting!
